Good morning from checkout day for session 13A. Here are the details about last night's program area awards and closing campfire.

Due to lingering thunderstorms, we were forced to hold everything under the pavilion. Free choice awards were passed out by the program area staff. There were some extremely creative designs made for the awards and the campers that received recognition looked very excited.

At closing campfire, we heard a few solo singing performances by Devon, Kim G. and Erin B. We also watched skits such as "hidden camera" and "the elephant skit". After concluding the entertainment, 5 year paddles were given to Aaron M., Jaida and Saige M. and Sam G. I then awarded character necklaces as follows: honesty to Kate P, caring to Devon C, respect to Joey S, and responsibility to Brianna P. The spirit award was presented to Jamie P. Finally, two brand new awards were presented: the "spirit, mind and body" award was for the CIT of the session-- Casey M. Also, the Unit Award went to the most spirited unit of the session: the Iroquois!
