Today is the very last day for the spirit points race in session B. As of this morning, Kiowa has a pretty big lead, with the Pioneers and Mohepinoke in second and third respectively. The much deserved prize for the victorious cabin will be an ice cream social tomorrow afternoon along with a private session in the program area of that cabin's choice!

The CITs are wrapping up the last week of their four week program by doing a service project here at camp. They've chosen to fix up the nature lodge. As you'll see in today's photo gallery, they have painted the classroom a nice green color and are putting together new shelves that will be used to display some of the skins, skulls and stuffed animals that we have. This is a great project and will make the nature lodge look much better to the hundred and hundred of kids that visit it every year.

Last night was unit night- the Pioneers and Iroquois camped out on the athletics field, while the Nation and Shawnees had a joint campfire with s'mores in the Nation. The CITs had a bowling night out, and I was told that Corey P, a first time bowler, was a natural and even got a turkey!

Have a good day and stay cool out there.

Jamie
